For sale is a beautiful Selmer Mark VI soprano saxophone!
This horn is a fully engraved Selmer serial #305,xxx!
This saxophone is being sold as used and has its fair share of various scratches, knicks, dings, fleabites, metal wear, engraving wear, repair marks, patina and other anomalies associated with such an old vintage instrument.
The horn is playing good right now, but has just been sitting around, so a small repair tech setup is recommended to really help clamp things down and take care of any small leaks.
This horn comes with a non Selmer random case.
Part of the bell lip is bent back a bit. Shown in picture #24 there is a small ding on the neck towards the cork. Both of these could be easily corrected by a tech if you choose so.
While no doubt this horn is a used piece, overall this horn is in awesome condition. Mark VI soprano's rarely come to market in this condition. Most recent made Series II or Series III soprano's are in worst condition then this horn!
Mark VI soprano's typically dont have engraving, so this horn is a really nice find with such gorgeous engraving sprawling up and down the bell!
