For sale is a beautiful Conn 12m Naked Lady baritone saxophone!
This horn is a prime example golden era Conn serial #262xxx.
This horn features Conn rolled tones. These 12m's were made for quite a long run and it does not get more primo serial range then this! The majority of the 12ms floating around have straight tone holes.
This horn was fully overhauled and rebuilt at one point. While the pads are used they are overall in very good condition and the horn feels great!
The horn is playing top to bottom loud and proud just as should be. There are no clicks, clanks, metal on metal and this is truly a great horn!
This saxophone is being sold as used and has its fair share of scratches, knicks, dings, fleabites, metal wear, patina, lacquer wear, or other anomalies associated with such an old vintage horn! There is 1 key guard missing.
Please check out picture #12. The C# key guard is missing and gone. You can see the marks left from this. Its not a game changer, but at one point if you could find a Conn key guard it could be nice to get attached.
This saxophone comes with no case. The sax will be packaged in an abundance of bubble wrap fully encasing the horn properly packaged ready for shipment!
These horns have become extremely scarce these days. Typically when these 12m's show up they are either missing necks, missing crucial parts, horrific condition, needing full overhaul, out of rolled tone hole era etc. To find this horn how it currently sits is an extremely nice piece
