For sale is a beautiful Conn 30M Connqueror Tenor Saxophone!
This horn is an absolute prime golden era Conn serial #282xxx with its 30m neck!
This horn is sitting on very old pads, if not its factory pads so this horn is being sold as not working for parts and will require a full pad job and overhaul to be a perfect playing saxophone.
This horn has its fair share of scratches, kicks, dings, patina, metal wear with various red & green colors, and other used anomalies associated with such an old antique that needs a full restoration.
All of that being said this horn is an absolute gem!
Conn 30Ms are extremely scarce and are not typically coming to market at all. When a 30M does come to market typically they are pretty rough shape with possibly no neck, missing original parts, highly patina'd, or a myriad of other problems as the standard.
While this horn does need an overhaul, it is a fantastic body and is going to overhaul beautifully into a top tier tenor. It will be a great process to watch come alive!
