For sale is a Conn 6m Naked Lady silver plated alto saxophone with its Conn purple lined case!
The horn is a prime golden era Conn serial #252xxx.
This saxophone is being sold as not working.
Its unknown what happened to this sax, probably was dropped or shipping mishap. The key work is frozen not moving freely. Shown in picture #24 the necks tenon/receiver area is dented out of round and does not fit on the body. The body side receiver/tenon area is fine. The horn also has old pads and will needs a full overhaul and pad job.
This saxophone is sold as not working and has its fair share of various patina, surface scratches, knicks, dings, fleabites, metal wear, silver plate loss and other anomalies associated with such an old antique instrument.
Aside from the work needed the horn it self is an absolutely gorgeous piece!
The horn features lush silk and satin silver plate thats popping bright with a beautiful gold plate gold washed bell!
The horn is also an incredible engraving example!
This horn is a transitional era horn and has the adjustable metal thumb rest!
