You are buying a brand new, never played, factory fresh saxophone with all matching candy & full US manufactures warranty.
In early 2025 Selmer Paris announced they would release a brand new limited edition Supreme variant to celebrate the 140th year anniversary of the Selmer company.
This brand new limited Supreme variant is made in extremely small numbers with only 500x total ever produced alto saxophones.
Out of those 500 horns only 55x total are allocated for the US market.
We are extremely lucky to have our allocation locked down!
Its not very often Selmer Paris releases any kind of new saxophone, changes anything, drops a new variant or has any movement in anyway so its extremely exciting to hear about this highly unique limited edition variant.
This saxophone has an amazing look with a very well thought overall package.
Selmer has engineered an awesome looking midnight matte black Darth Vadar saxophone finish. This has to be one of the best looking black horns ever produced, the finish truly looks incredible.
There are many quirks and features that set this saxophone apart from the stock Supreme options.
The horn is fully matte blacked out top to bottom with all of the keys, key work, rods, hinges, posts, thumb rest, ligature, end cap, mouthpiece cap, everything is matte black on matte black!
Selmer has gone as far to use all black materials, black corks, black felts and black pads with black chrome plated resonators!
The finger pearl inlays are all made from black crystals.
Selmer has even gone as far as to make a special custom shaped screw for the neck that's also matching matte black.
The horn features a brand new engraving design by artist Jeremie Bernard. The engraving is a re imagination of a special hand written score on manuscript that was written by Henri Selmer's brother, Alexandre Selmer.
The engraving sprawls all around the bell of the saxophone and up the body, as well even on the clothing guard. For the first time Selmer has actually engraved the bell to body brace ring with very nice circular engraving that catches the eye.
For the first time ever Selmer is producing an engraved limited edition mouthpiece. The mouthpiece is included with saxophone.
Included is a brand new designed Selmer logo'd neck strap which is nice to see!
The saxophone case, polish cloth, neck swab, body swab, cork grease all have been custom made for this horn that have visuals that match the engraving pattern on the horn.
With only 55x of these total coming into the USA these horns will only be only available for so long. Its common on these types of limited horns for buyers to pre order these from dealers.

The story of a rediscovered musical score, reimagined for eternity

While the origins of Maison SELMER are often associated with Henri SELMER, his brother Alexandre, a renowned clarinetist in the United States, greatly contributed to the company's presence in America in the early 20th century.
During his career with major orchestras (Boston, Cincinnati...), Alexandre Selmer composed a clarinet study dedicated to his musician friend George Bundy, symbolizing the musical dialogue and artistic sharing that has been dear to our Maison from its inception.
Recently rediscovered in our workshops, this document became the starting point for the design of our anniversary edition engraving, entrusted to designer Jérémie Bernard. Reimagined, this document transforms into an imaginary score, where each note engraved on the instrument tells the story of a music that continues to reinvent itself.
Through this graphic interpretation of Alexandre's score, Maison SELMER pays tribute to its heritage while projecting its expertise into the future.

Produced in a limited, numbered series, this unique version of the Supreme alto possesses the same acoustic, mechanical, and ergonomic qualities as the standard Supreme alto, yet stands out with a bold and creative design.
From the glossy black crystal key touches to the neck with a blend of synthetic and natural black cork, the Supreme Alto Limited Edition 2025 explores a rich and varied palette of blacks. The body and keys are finished in matte black, contrasting and highlighting an engraving that reveals the brass’s brilliance. This motif embodies an artistic vision of a musical score - a true calligraphy of musical notation that extends to the body-to-bell ring, the bell and the guard.
